OEM order cosmetic soft tube for Guangzhou Divinio Packaging Products Co.,Ltd
1. Cosmetic soft tube material composition:
Almost cosmetic soft tube use PE plastic material ,and the tube including tube Body + outer cap. the tube body is made of PE plastic, with alternatives including aluminum-plastic laminate tubes, pure aluminum tubes, and ECO-friendly paper plastic composite tubes.
A:Full PE tube: The entire tube is made of PE material. The manufacturing process involves extruding the tube, followed by cutting, offset printing, screen printing, and hot stamping. Based on the head shape, tubes can be classified as round, flat, or oval. Tail sealing options include straight-line crimping, diagonal crimping, and special-shaped crimping.
B:Aluminum Plastic Laminate tube: Features a dual-layer structure—the inner layer is PE material, and the outer layer is aluminum foil, which is cut and then seamed/welded. Head shapes include round, flat, and oval. Tail sealing options include straight-line crimping, diagonal crimping, and special-shaped crimping.
C: 100% Aluminum tube: Made of 100% aluminum, recyclable and ECO- friendly. The disadvantage is its susceptibility to deformation However, it offers a unique aesthetic and creates strong brand memorability, you can see our daily use for the toothpaste,we called them aluminum tube.
2. Classification by wall and thickness:
Based on wall thickness, cosmetic tubes can classified single layer tube,2 layer tube, and 5 layer tube, each differing in pressure resistance, barrier performance, and tactile feel.
single layer tube: relatively thin wall.
2 layer tube: The most commonly used specification.
5 layer tube: A premium-grade product consisting of an outer layer, inner layer, two adhesive layers, and a barrier layer. Features excellent gas barrier performance, effectively preventing the ingress of oxygen and odorous gases while minimizing the loss of product fragrance and active ingredients.

3. Classification by tube shape:
Based on cross-sectional shape, tubes are classified as: Round, Oval, Flat, and Ultra-Flat.

4. Cosmetic tube neck diameter & capacity specifications:
Tube neck diameters range from 13# to 60#. Once a specific neck diameter is selected, different capacities are achieved by varying tube length, with capacity adjustable from 3ml to 360ml. For aesthetic and functional coordination:
Capacities below 60ml → typically use neck diameters below 35#.
Capacities of 100ml–150ml → typically use neck diameters between 35# and 45#.
Capacities above 150ml → require neck diameters above 45#.

5. Cosmetic tube:
The tube caps are available in a wide variety of shapes, including: Flat cap, round cap, tall cap, flip-top cap, ultra-flat cap, double-wall cap, spherical cap, and lipstick-style cap. plastic caps can undergo various secondary finishing processes, such as: Hot stamping process gold/silver edges, colored molding, transparent finishing, spray painting, and Electroplating. nozzle caps and lipstick-style caps are typically equipped with inner plugs/seals.
6. Manufacturing processes:
A:Tube body finishes:
Tubes can be manufactured in colored, transparent, frosted , or pearlescent finishes, available in either glossy or matte surfaces. Matte finishes offer an elegant appearance but are more prone to soiling. Tube body color can be achieved either through mass coloring (pigment added during plastic extrusion) or large-area surface printing. The difference can be identified at the tail cut edge—a white edge indicates a surface-printed tube. Surface printing requires high-quality inks; otherwise, the ink may peel off, crack, or reveal white crease marks when bent.
B:Tube boody printing:
Screen printing: Uses spot colors, suitable for small-area, low-color-count graphics; requires color registration; commonly used for professional/cosmetic-grade products.
Offset printing: Similar to paper printing, suitable for large-area, multi-color graphics; commonly used for mass-market daily chemical products.
Hot stamping / Hot Foiling: gold or silver metallic effects applied to designated areas.
7. Production lead time & Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ):
Lead Time: 15–20 working days (counted from confirmed sample approval).
MOQ: 5,000–10,000 pieces .
Molds: Custom molds are rarely developed by clients; most tubes use standard/public molds (with the exception of some specialty caps that may use private/custom molds).
Tolerance: A ±10% deviation between contracted quantity and actual delivered quantity is standard practice in this industry.
8. Pricing & sample charge:
Prices vary significantly depending on tube quality and manufacturer selection.
Making charge: USD $100/color.order meet 10000pcs,will return all sample cost.
Printing Options: Multi-color offset printing and screen printing are available. Some manufacturers offer heat-transfer printing technology.
Hot Stamping / Foiling: Charged based on the area covered.
Selection Note: screen printing offers superior quality and durability but is more expensive and available from fewer manufacturers. Manufacturers should be selected based on different product tier requirements and budget considerations.
